DESIGN ACT 2007!

The international Design Festival -DESIGN ACT took place in Russia for the first time in 2007.
The festival is dedicated to design of industrial objects from a pen to a car.
During the festival we managed to:
To involve internationally famous Russian and foreign designers in the participation in the Festival.
To cover and unite all target categories of visitors and participants: professional designers, prospective producers and consumers.
To develop relevant and variegated program and therefore attract wide media’s attention as well as а significant number of visitors interested in industrial design.
To announce Russian industrial design and make a giant step toward Russia’s joining world professional community.
To change the object world for better.
Forum’s encouraging results were both quantity and quality of DA guests.
DA attracted significant numbers of young and daring people of creative occupations. This grateful audience is also beneficial, readily responses to congenial initiatives, open for information and eager to cooperate. During 3 days of Forum the number of visitors reached 50,000 people.
«DA – 2007» was a part of Moscow’s Day celebration program, supported by Moscow city administration, “Nashe Vremya” Cultural Fund, and Ministry for Economical Development and Commerce of RF.

From 2008 DA becomes an annual event, and both organizers and designers will qualify for it. DA-2008 – more striking and variegated program for numerous participants and wide audience of eminent producers and fans of industrial design
